Hi. I would like to know more about the oil lamp that get lit up during a wedding Ceremony. I am marrying a man who is a Sri Lankan Buddhist. And as part of the wedding ceremony I would like to have the Oil lamp lit up. Could you please send me some information about what happens during the ceremony, what is symbolises, who lights it up, what's its purpose and the correct name for it.
